Magical Crypto Store is Now Open!
Dear toxic bitcoin maximalists and fluffy animal lovers, we are happy to announce that the MCF Store is now up and running!
We are sorry that you had to wait for so long to get your hands on the cute Magical Crypto Friends’ plushies (or “pluchies” as WhalePanda calls them in Pandaspeak). It was our intention to launch the store immediately after MCC2019, however due to unforeseen circumstances such as our shipment being hijacked by a fraudulent kangaroo, our inventory arrival was significantly delayed.
The good thing is, they are all here now. All 4 MCF animal plushies are in stock, as well as our first edition charcoal grey MCF T-shirts! Go complete your collection here. Beware — children and pets have been proven to get possessive about the animal toys.
For the time being, we are proudly accepting BTC and LTC (“nobody uses bitcoin for payments” they said). We have also decided to accept credit card payment since Samson loves credit cards.
Happy shopping!
This Was MCCVR 2020
As you know, we unfortunately had to cancel MCC in New York this year. But we weren’t ready to accept a 2020 without a Magical Crypto Conference – so instead, we brought the magic to your home!
MCCVR 2020 was the first full-VR Bitcoin conference happening across a dozen islands, two stages, one lobby, and a VIP room. Over 500 attendees joined us for two days packed with fabulous VR sceneries, lovely company, and top-notch Bitcoin content.
Entering the Magical Crypto World
MCCVR granted our attendees an exclusive insight into the home of the Magical Crypto Friends. From the Dragons’ Den where Samson shilled Liquid to a private yacht that unfortunately went missing after fluffypony boarded it with his private keys, MCCVR left no questions open for those who had always wondered what the Magical Crypto Friends do when the live shows end.
On day one of the conference, we unfortunately experienced some technical difficulties that led to a delayed agenda kick-off and caused some glitches.
While we were able to fix most of them throughout the first day of the event, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to our guests, speakers, and sponsors, and want to thank you all for your unparalleled patience. Samson wishes the Magical Crypto Friends were this patient when he shows up late for the Magical Crypto Friends live shows.
The Best Sponsors in the (Virtual) World
Our sponsors are the reason MCCVR was possible. By supporting the conference, each sponsor took a big risk: VR is a nascent technology and will require a lot more development and technological advancements to reach its full potential.
Our sponsors put their trust in us to deliver a high-quality experience with the limited options available to us through the platform we used. To deliver the best-possible event to everyone involved, Samson mobilized the team at his game development company Pixelmatic to create a fork of VR platform Mozilla Hubs and build a completely customized world on top of it.
A big thank you goes out to all of our sponsors:
- XBTO
- Stablehouse
- Litecoin Foundation
- Bitstamp
- WhatsMiner
- Pixelmatic
- Fidelity Center for Applied Technology
- TDEX
- SideShift.ai
- Cryptosteel
- STOKR
- VanEck
- BtcTurk Pro
- GloBee
- Coinkite
Your Favorite Speakers All in One Place
If a virtual conference has one inherent advantage over a real-life conference, it is the possibilities for agenda design. Because the furthest journey our speakers had to undertake to join MCCVR was from the couch to the desk, we were able to invite the best of the best from all around the world.
76 top-notch entrepreneurs, executives, developers, creators, marketers, writers, managers, designers, and enthusiasts stepped on stage at MCCVR – in their actual virtual form no less – to talk Bitcoin.

MCCVR attendees enjoyed discussions surrounding the origins of Bitcoin, the state of mining, the best hardware wallets, Bitcoin design initiatives, future scenarios for Bitcoin, privacy developments, Bitcoin’s technical advancements, and much more, all from the comfort of their homes.
We were joined by the likes of Blockstream CEO Dr. Adam Back, Keiser Report hosts Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert, Coinfloor CEO Obi Nwosu, StillMark Capital Founding Managing Partner Alyse Killeen, BTC Times editor Elaine Ou, and Reckless VR creator Udi Wertheimer, who somehow managed to smuggle in his buddy Justin Sun.
In the coming weeks, we will upload the full talks and panels including videos on our YouTube channel, so that you can watch everything you missed.

Next Stop: MCC 2021
Although the global circumstances remain unclear, we’re optimistic and have set our eyes on our next real-life conference planned for 2021. We can’t wait to organize another event together with the best of the best in Bitcoin, and we hope for a gradual normalization within global travel for the community.
Nonetheless, we can well imagine repeating the VR experience and hosting another MCCVR.
Thank you to everyone who joined MCCVR 2020, and to everyone who missed it – follow us on Twitter so you can be part of the next one!
